I got to meet a new family for this session and got to know a super sweet, blue-eyed, 3 year old:) She was spunky and happily played along as we walked and talked:) When we were almost through and Dad casually suggested a great shot- his sweet daughter running through the field in her fairy wings. I’m so glad he did because what little girl doesn’t want a picture of herself as beautiful fairy? It was great getting to meet you “C” family! Thank you so much for taking the chance the choosing to do a non-studio type session for your precious memories:)

Good boy Duke! {Louisa, VA Baby Photographer, Louisa, VA Family Photographer}

Wow I have seen alot of beautiful blue-eyes babies lately! Do you remember this little guy? It seems like just yesterday I was doing his newborn session and gently posing his sweet fur-brother, Duke with him…Mr. A is now officially 6 months old and is happiest when he is diaperless ….and hanging out with Duke of course:) I was super happy to get to see this fun and very sweet family again. They are adjusting to life with a baby beautifully and are just as in love with their sweet boy as they were before. He is a very lucky little guy:)
For those of you who wonder how a session goes with a young baby and an I’m-really-excited-to-be-at-the-farm-what-is-that-smell dog, I added a fun behind the scenes pic:) No babies or dogs were harmed in the making of these photos:):):)

This is the aforementioned behind the scenes pic- good thing both mom and dad were there… and good thing Duke really likes rocks.. yes- ROCKS.:)

Where’d ya get those eyes? {Louisa, VA, Family Photographer, Baby photography}

I mean really….does it get any more adorable than this? I see this sweet baby at least 1ce a week and never until taking these pics did I realize how bright and blue and beautiful her eyes are! The camera really brought them out! I know I have said this a million times but there really is nothing cuter than the smile of a baby with just the two teeth:) I LOVE IT! And her brother is just as cute- it is not hard at all to get this boy to smile because he gets excited just when you say his name! I got the biggest smiles out of him and didn’t even have to try very hard:) LOVE this family… Thanks you guys for choosing me to document this special time in your lives… and for all the sitting and standing:)… and for not being too stressed about the phone that had to be retrieved from the train tracks:)

Tiny Baby “J” { Louisa, VA Newborn Photographer}

This tiny little girl came in a hurry:)  She was only 5 Lbs 4 oz when she was born!  But to be so tiny she is very STRONG.  She was only 7 days for our session and she was holding her head up- way up for long periods of time.  She was a trooper too, happily letting us doll her up:)   She enjoyed the sunshine and warm breeze as we did most of our session outdoors for this one.  Stay tuned for more of this sweet girl as I will be documenting her at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months:)

Smooches:) Houston Engagement Session {Louisa, VA Engagement photography, Wedding Photography}

There’s nothing better than new beginnings…
When I photograph an engaged couple I always think of all of the hope for a future they have. I see dreams of a home filled with laughter, sunshine and tiny feet….hopes of success, health and accomplishment. And what I want to tell them is this: hold on to each other because along with the beautiful paths ahead there are also going to be some rough roads…hold on to each other because you will be made one and NOTHING should ever seperate that… hold on to each other because as much as you’re in love now, you will love each other more completely and deeply in years to come than you will ever imagine… AND

I can’t wait to photograph this beautiful bride and their barn wedding!
